thats simply amazing. you see how far out its leg bent sideways to counter that first kick? i coulnt even begin to think of the software design that took, and all i could think of watching those legs was deer. its like they did everything they could to copy-cat animals. good ole nature, pinnacle of evolution.
or even in the mud. it didnt look that astounding, but if you look close you can see right where its feet started to sink and it almost didnt know what to do, it almost lost it. the terrain adapability is incredible. throw some guns on that thing, give her a little ai and send er off to the east i say!
i reckon they're going to use that for war... to help troops carry stuff. better do something about that whipper snipper engine. it ll give away their position.
i wouldnt be surprised if our government already has two-leg upright human droid looking machines that walk like that. im sure they are trying very hard to make remote control soldiers they can send to war instead of real lives. makes sense, but has anyone seen iRobot? will smith i know, but wasnt a bad movie.
Yeah, i-Robot is good. Not exactly one for Asimov purists (and the product placement was awful) but very entertaining nevertheless. CGI and audio are also excellent.
WOW how cool is that thing! like MuFu says though it is quite freaky! but shows what technology is coming to, i was really impressed when the guy kicked it and it kept its self on its feet!
