PDA, Smartphones, Blackberry

My works has told me that if I want to become a valuable assest to them I should learn the ins/outs of Smartphones (particarly the Audiovox brand), PDA's and Blackberrys.
Now I currently know nothing about them or use them. Is there a few good sites to goto and learn/catch up on the technology?

I've been trying to think of a good answer to this, but the best I can come up with is this: get one (preferably at work's expense). You can download and read manuals for a bunch of devices, and go reading reviews, but until you've actually used one and worked out how useful/useless it is for you, I don't think you have the whole picture.

Yeah I told them that I would need the devices in order to mess with them and learn, but its the State, so they do everything A$$ backwards

Looks pretty generic, hope Verizon has something similar as all the smart phones and blackberrys go thru the Verizon service.

I'm so happy they give me the will to learn other stuff, yet without all the proper tools! Everything that is said about the ____ is true, LOL
