    IEEE Computer Society

Anyone here a member, or even heard of these guys? I just got their brochure in the mail, for membership. I expect they got my information from the Cisco bootcamp I took. $53US membership, and free access to their course catalog. Seems like a good deal ... if it's ligit.

I'm an IEEE member, but not the computer society. My dues are somewhat higher. It's legit. Ever wonder where IEEE-1394 or IEEE-802.11 comes from?
