best hard drive to go for?

from this list of hard drives at overclockers, can anyone recomend a hard drive?
Its purely for gaming, and obviously needs to be larger than 100gb as ive just filled my 80gb up!

    Any recomendations?

From the choices you have... the Western Digital Caviar 10,000RPM drive seems to be th ebest for your needs.

Yea but the Raptor 10k over 100gb is crazy expensive. If its not going to be a boot drive then just about anything will do, good ol reliable Samsung might be a good choice, have not had a failure from those in ages and i use them mostly these days. Hitachi has an excellent track record, seagate is great, WD too and lately Maxtor have recovered. For pure speed i'd get a raptor, but for reliability and mass storage, Samsung, Seagate or a WD Caviar, with Samsung more for reliability. In my opinion the Raptor is not old enough for me to judge reliablity and i only use small numbers to have an opinion on them though 3 of the 30 or so i've installed have failed, 2 36 and 1 74, bear in mind these were earlier models not long off the first UK batches.

Ive always bought seagate, because i thought they was the top brand to go for, and would last, but ive had a couple/few go down between home and work PCs

Yea i find the Samsung Spinpoint, while not winning speed records are quite fast enough and almost bullet proof.
