There's a new Raptor in town!
Finally, a review...
Breathlessly waited for by enthusiasts around the world, the Raptor WD1500 improves upon its predecessor by margins of up to 21% when it comes to our single-user productivity and gaming tests.
Think this might be a good time to pick up one of the 74GB versions.

The 74GBs i have and have installed are not overly noisy, some 7200rpm drives are tons whinier, most really noisy ones were the early rev 36GB ones

By the way, what does BTW stand for?
It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Yeah - not many complaints as far as the noise of the 74GB version goes, especially the later ones. I'm just wondering whether they really make much of a difference for everyday, single-user use.
Seems like a nice thing to have, either way. Rationality is overrated.
