Which Card ?

I have a cyrix 233 cpu and txpro motherbaord with onboard sound and video that wil never suport direct x.

Which card would be best for my system ? and what about direct x concerns such as if i bought a 3d only card would there be problems with my original card not supporting direct x ?

I live in Australia and curently the Voodoo 2 12 mb by creative is selling at retail for $499 AUS. What a god damn joke not to mention the lesser known cards such as the Maxi Gammer Phoenix sells for $400

I have no idea what to get and dont want to waste money. Is it possible to order from the US ?

You'd be getting ripped off if you baught that Voodoo2.
I bought a Creative Voodoo2 16Mb before Christmas for a friend of mine, and I picked it up, fully boxed with free games and all the extras, for $270.

Whoa! Sorry, my fault. I misunderstood you then. The card I got for my friend was actually a Creative Banshee 16Mb for $270. I'm sure you could get a cheaper price on the Creative Voodoo 2 still.

Buy a new system!

You would need:
Mothewrboard (FIC VA-503+ Rev.1.2)
Sound Card (PCI 128 or Live)
Vidio card (Voodoo3 or Savage4)

You should also get:
64 meg PC-100 SDRAM
K6-3 450

Like I said, get a new system!
