    Question a good CPU for gaming laptop?

    A friend of mine is lookin to gat a laptop to use for several apps and gaming. What do you guys recommend for a CPU....or for that matter, what laptop would fit his bill?
    Lookin to spend 1 to 1.5 grand. Hopin to get an x700 GPU.

    bout the best youll be able to get for that price is a celeron, maybe a mobile athlon if he's lucky

    Nah, I think he could get a Turion or Pentium M with that budget. You will likely get a Turion system for less, giving you more room for the other options.
    Give what you cannot keep to gain what you cannot lose.
