What mobile phone do you own?

Seeing as there's a trend of these "What... do you own?" threads, I thought I'd make my own

anyways Nokia 6260, I just love it couse almost noone else does

and I love the fact you can close it and it fits your back pocket, yet it has all the goodies that I want.

Nice, that's quite an upgrade by the looks of things. Both Nick and I have 1GB memory cards in ours incidentally, so that reported limitation is probably not absolute.

I have made an adapter for mine out of the supplied headset that lets me use decent headphones (Senn MX400s).



Audio quality is suprisingly good but the software is awful! Especially compared to the Series 60 phones. Maybe Nokia have improved their MMAPI/J2ME in the 6230i (would be suprised if that's the case though). It'd be nice if they upgraded the USB controller to 2.0 as well.

How good are the Pictures from those Camera Phones?

I think even the better ones use plastic lenses

mine is limited to 640x480 and isnt good for anything other then phone screen

6230 has 1.3M as far as I know and some pics Ive seen are OK, but really every half decent 100$ camera will beat that.

On the other hand if you got the phone with the contract and you choose something like Nokia 60 series, you are basically getting free camera, so why complain

Not great but good enough for the odd snap on a night out.

It's definitely a luxury many people can afford live without IMHO. However it's nice to have one in case of emergencies.

I never would have had one either, but with doing Network troubleshooting and Pc repair etc I needed one.
