I've been ask to build a good quality karaoke set-up. I dont know the first thing about it or them. Whats involed, whats need? Should I just buy one or should I pursue this?

When it comes to something like this, I'd probably just buy one. AFAIK, karaokes have been around longer then the desktop pc... I could be wrong!
But, I would think there are plenty of karaokes out there that are excellent. It's like the game consoles... if they were more expensive to produce than a pc or didn't have better quality, they wouldn't be making them.

Yes, it would be for a pub/bar thats why he doesnt wanna go to say walmart and buy a cheap one. Looking at this site, I see their basically 2 ways to go. CDG player or more computer like with MP3's.
