it shouldnt be that much longer. I would say, maybe half a week/ week longer than normal. Customs are a ***** nowadays, it took me a month to recieve something from hong kong. But when i order from uk it doesnt take that much longer at all, a few days more
The longest I waited was a bit over a month (think it was Fedex)
The fastest I got the package was new battery for Ipaq, company was from Texas and they managed to get it to me in unbelivable time of 4 days (UPS)
Lappy from Tiger direct came quite fast as well (UPS)
DHL is usually a bit slower then UPS
I think Fedex is so slow because it comes in via domestic post office and those guys still live in the era of carrier pigeons

Cant you get a tracking number from your suppiler or Fed-EX. You then can track online
the problem is he has to deal with customs as well
so tracking number doesnt help much if you can see your package arrived to the airport 2 days ago and is now sitting there
You need to know when the Joe Invisible will decide to give your package a look.
So companies dealing with packages that need to be delivered quickly, like UPS and DHL will get things done in a day, good old national post office may however take forever.
Mind you this is how things sometimes work here, could be FedEx will get through in no time where Martin lives.
ups and like are faster only becuase theyre an independent business that has to be fast to survive. whats the worst the post office can do? raise stamp rates again?
