Cannot delete bootex.log
Everytime I do chkdsk c: /f and restart my computer to do it, it would freeze after it says '..your computer is restarting...'
So I have to hit the reset button and so I can go back to windows. After this, I have a file called C:\bootex.log that I cannot delete and even chkdsk reports it as a corrupt file.
What I know is chkdsk creates bootex.log during its process and it should copy it to event log and delete the file. I guess it always fails when it tries to do the last part. Any ideas?
Im running WinXP pro with the latest patches. Actually, I've had this problem since I installed winxp.
