I just got bored and thought I'd look up my first post at HWC. Yes, I've been on and off, posting here since Dec. 1998 and only have 500+ post. Anyway, Im talking about running high end games on a tnt and voodoo2 cards, LOL.

lol, you just made me do the same thing. In fact I had a good look through some of my oldest threads, and laughed a bit at this :

One of my early ones said something like this :

"yeah, i'm going to take this old case, give it a paint job, cut a window and build a monster"

Then not long after that post, I started a thread (warning to case modders) about how I had shot a piece of hot metal into my eye and spent the last couple of days in the eye clinic LOL!

Those were the days (2003) why don't I do stupid stuff like this now?

I'd better get some more thermal paste in there before I start over clocking, i've taken the heat sink off that many times it's all gone lol.

That's me, taken from my first ever thread here. lol, and that was only 2 years ago... I can't believe how much I've learnt since then. Why the hell I kept removing the HSF.... I haven't got a clue

lol yeah, but maybe it's because when I want a nice case nowadays I just buy one, whereas back then I mod a cheap one up on a budget. It was only 2 years ago when I was a skint student, but it was loads more fun back then...
