Video card Compatibility

I have an AGP Banshee card, and I'm about to upgrade my mobo and processor. I'm looking at buying an Asus P5a and AMD K6-2 350 for the upgrade. My question is if any has heard of any compatibility issues between this setup. I'm not really into overclocking so if that's an issue, I probably won't experience it. Any inside info would be much appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE! :-)

i have red that the aladdin chipset has been having some compatability issues with AGP. However, they were all rectified by downloading the latesest drivers.

Downloading and installing the latest BIOS upgrade for the mainboard probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I personally like AMD, and would love to see socket 7 live a little longer, but there are many problems with the super 7 chipsets and AGP video cards. I personally have over 7 or 8 friends who went the super 7 route and have problems. So make sure your motherboard, and video work together before you buy , if it doesn't , don't believe that it will be fixed for "you" immediately. If it is not currently working , avoid it.
