Even though last year was incredible as a Red Sox fan, I am still pushing for a Cubs-Sox series... I just think it would be great... to of the more beloved MLB teams playing for the championship.
Hey, even the Sox are 1-2. Like you said in another thread, there are 162 games, so we still have 159 left over the next 6 months... still some time left...

oh yeah, but honestly after last year i was half a heartbeat from trading to a sox fan. they have such a nicer team, those guys actually have fun playing, not to mention now that the tribune got rid of chip and steve the sox now have by far better announcers with hawk and dj.
The cubs last year was the most embarrasing display of immaturity i have ever seen. I was completely emabarrased to be a cub fan, only the fact the they paid to get rid of sosa and drop alou aloing with merker and farnsworth was the reason im still clinging on.
But to my disgust the damn players are already crying about critisism, you know what players, youre getting paid to play a game- shut up!
Im beginning to think dusty has more to do with it than anything.... we shall see, if it turns out anything like last year i will disown them untill the management is axed. I would have no problem rooting for the sox, a team that knows what the game really means
edit- forgot my update, they didnt lose today! .... because they didnt play - now this sounds like football season in chicago

oh i know i was just exgaggerating. im gonna have a short temper this year anfter what happened last year though, and kerry wood is already complaining again
At least Kerry Wood didn't look to bad yesterday. 7K's and only 4 hits in 5.2 innings. I would be a little nervous about the 5 walks, but it just the beginning of the season.
I am worried about Foulke though... he coughed up that game winning home run against the Yankees and let up 2 runs in the bottom of the ninth against the Blue Jays... that is not good!!

I'm more worried about Mo Rivera; 4 *straight* blown saves against the Bosox...

I'll admit it, I'm a Rangers fan. I sure do hope we get Frank Francisco and Carlos Almanzar back soon; the looks of the bullpen this year aren't too encouraging. Starting pitching seems to be fairly solid so far.
exactly- im proud to be a bull fan this year, those guys gave it their all every game this year, it was the most exciting season ive even seen from basketball.
The cubs are brutal, i like a lot of the players on the team, but the management is rediculous, dusty has to go he's an idiot- he plays black guys on hot days because theyre used to the heat supposedly
The sox are doing great- im proud of those guys, theyre playing like a real team, they have the best record in the al. i wish the cubs had ozzy for a manager. too bad im a cub fan but im still proud of the sox.
