When you get really fed up with ATI drivers, game of UT2004 will put a smile back on your face
Try some online ONS missions if you can. Its amazing that even with the most demanding 32 players matches, X800 card is still capable to use full detail, FSAA 2x and AF 4x without impacting the gameplay.
BTW X800XL, which oviously isnt much faster then X800PRO, rivals 6800Ultra in UT2004 at higher resolution with FSAA and AF enabled

Yup, 1600x1200 to the max is a pretty sweet place to be! As an aside, it's interesting to see that the X800XL (and likely Pro) pumps out over twice as many frames as the 6600GT at these settings. OK, I know it's not a fair comparison, and the 6600GT is still an incredible card, but it goes against the law of dimishing returns when an extra 50% in cost gives you over 100% in speed. Swith to Doom 3 of course and it's back to 50%, but that's still impressive to be proportional to price.
jankerson, how did you benchmark UT2004, I'm interested to see how scores compare, relative to 3DMark.
If you've got your money for nothing, who cares if the chicks are free!

I just ordered an X800 XL pcie16x for my new Athlon64 system. I'll post some benches Monday night or Tuesday. I made sure to get the version of the card that required a power connector- it seems to make a huge difference in overclocking ability. As it should, the pcie16x slot can only put out so much juice. I'm hoping for close to X800XT PE clocks once I get the cooling finalized.

Jankerson:
Is the above with the same video card. That seems reasonable for more cache and faster memory, from what I gather 4x to 8x agp may not make a difference at this time.

Same Type of video card, both are X800 Pro's.
