Could have also been caused by the occasional pruning done by date?

3,100 posts restored to Huge count; a small number of others do seem to have been affected by a vBulletin automated recount after deleting a member's account by request. Please post here or drop me a PM and the mods and I'll consider a limited number of manual count resets, but unfortunately (just as happened with Y2K ) we can't get into wholesale number guesstimating.

    Thanks,
    Eric
