I have recently put together a system consisting of the parts below:

Athlon 3200+ 64 processor
Asus AV8 M'Board
Geforce 6600 GT 3d Card
Seagate Barracuda 160gb HDD
2 x 512mb Crucial memory.

I have performed the video stress test that came with Counter Strike but the best I can get is 22.8fps.

I know that it can do better but i've tried eveything I can think of, have updated my bios for motherboard, have fixed the bug that I heard about where the motherboard drivers did not support my processor.
Have just installed the latest 3d card drivers but that only put the frame rate up by 0.8fps.

help please.
