What Video Card?

Hi, im new to the forums, but i havent been able to find a old thread that answers my question, so here goes. I have a Asus motherboard (P4t533-c), but im not sure which video cards my motherboard can take. Also, i wanted to know which card you guys think is the best for my limited budget. i got a gift certificate for $140 and im wiling to buy a new card that costs as much as $200, but im not sure which card i should get. I prefer ATI, but nay feedback would be most appreciated. Thx in advance

Any P4 board with an AGP slot is at least AGP 4x or 8X and 8x cards can work in 4x so basically any AGP card is fine. Radeon 9600Pro or XT is a good deal. Check NewEgg for good prices. Likely they are around $100 and $120 respectively, but I'm too lasy to look right now for you.

Awesome, thx. Also, im sitlla lil confused on the difference between Pro and XT. I believe Xt is better, but im not positive. Is my thinking correct? ty for ur reply, helps a lot

xt is clocked at 500/600 and the pro is 400/600.
