Still any video card deals around that give you free HL2?

    Just wondered.

Got a buddy looking for HL2 and I'm looking for a new vid card

I know ATI did that for a while didn't they?

    Thanks,

You could try searching Ebay for a coupon.

I got mine for about 10-15$, can remember exactly.

I don't know about the card but if I can say at buy.com they have the game for $44. Also, I could have sworn that there is a bundle with a video card. I'll check to make sure.

If you buy an X800 Pro at Best Buy right now, you get HL2 off the shelf for free.

    Thanks for the replies

Unfortunately $400 is too much in my book to pay for a video card. I don't care if they give away 3 games with it

I guess I'll just forget about the new card for now.

Steampowered forums specifically warn against purchasing Steam accounts via Ebay

Games are always US$30-60 so the card isn't that expensive really. You will want those games when you find you can run 3dmark awesome but have nothing to use the card for (if you don't get a bundle pack).

    LOL Maybe for you.

So $330 to $360 is not expensive for a vid card.

    Come on.

I will never pay more than around $150 for a vid card.
