Windows erros when OC'N p4 2.6c

When i oc my cpu to 3.25ghz windows boots up fine..it does until i get up to 3.3ghz
i'v gone up to 4.4 (havent tried going higher) and i got the system to boot fine, but when it gets to windows the blue screen comes up w/a error and starts a mem dump!
so my question is, is it the fact that im using stock cooling, or should i OC first and then install windows?
by the way, Idle temps are around 42C and load temp is 59C

set the vcore voltage on 1.6v
and if that dont work make shure youre memory can stand the speed its on
if not make it run lower in bios like 333mhz

@ 3.3ghz if the mem is set at 1/1 in the bios, you are running your ram at over pc4000. So, to solve the problem, either increase the ram voltage and/or lower the ram timings or run you mem at 5/4

success!!!!!
I ran superpi succesfully and got 43 Seconds! (when i had the core @ less 2.555 volts it would get and error and stop in the middle)
my mem is set as 333mhz, so currently OC'D i think its going @ 433mhz or so....the FSB is @ 262mhz and w/stock cooling its @ 42C.. load temp is not yet sure since i read this post and the morning and am @ school
guess i'll have to see high high i can go tonight...
I'll prob buy a new heatsink and ame a duct dirrectly the the HSF as that can lower load temps by 20C!
according to my calculation, if i'' have my mem running @ 366mhz then my cpu will be right around 3.8ghz. and knowing that the mem can do around 513mhz, the sky's the limit!(well, the limiting factor will probably be the heat).
looks like a 1.2ghz FSB is likely..
