pc100 sdram @ 66mhz?
hi, just bought a new machine (amd k6-2 350 w/ shuttle 591-p), got 64megs pc100 sdram, and upon messing around the inside I noticed that my sdram clk is synchronous with the agp clk (66mhz) and not the cpu clk (100mhz). can I just go ahead and change the jumper settings so the sdram is synch with the cpu clk? or is something gonna get fried? I have a matrox g100 4mb agp vid card which only supports 66mhz, i thought it might have something to do with this... thought i would check with you knowledgeable fellers before i did any messin around.
