    Divx codec

    When installing DIVX codec is it better to have just one (latest) installed or should I have 3.1 and maybe even 4 installed as well

    reason I am asking is BS player has options on adjusting picture for different versions separately, does that mean movie encoded with older version will be played with codec it was encoded in or will they all use the latest codec

    Just use the latest. Those adjustments are for videos encoded using older versions, but playback will use the latest.
