    TFT Response times

    ive been looking at TFT monitors as im getting one and the problem is, i looked at 19" tfts and they were all 25ms response times so i looked at the expensive 17" and their all 25ms too, so what whould i be looking for?

    from what i heard, 20ms and 16ms screens are pretty even for performance. 20ms screens are 20ms @full color depth while 16ms screens are only 16ms @reduced color depth and are actually around 20ms average on a larger color pallet.

    25ms screens have mixed reviews for games. some people reported ghosting in certain games and others have no problems at all.

    20ms and 16ms screens reportedly have much less ghosting in games.

    what games ghost the most? as i only play racing games, would i be fine with them?

    Dunno.

    My Samsung 191T LCD has a 25ms responce time and I don't notice any ghosting in games.

    But then my eyes aren't what they used to be either.
