Compatible case & psu

I want to purchase a Maxtop case without the psu. I was thinking about an Antec powersupply. Can i assume that if a case comes without a psu any brand psu will fit?

If you buy an ATX case you can assume, with general certainty, that any ATX power supply you buy will fit. Basically there is a mold that all ATX case and power supply manufactures follow, that's why they call it ATX. Of course there is also still some AT cases floating around, but you would have a real difficult time finding one of those for retail.
