Sat reciever/TV card
Anyway to make the TV card act as the Sat reciever?
Right now I have The sat reciever on a channel, I set the comp to record the show good. If a different show comes on different channel, no luck.
See the delimma.
Any help would be great

Do you mean you have a set-top-box on a TV and a PCI TV tuner card in your PC? Or do you have a digital sat-card for your PC?

Ah ha, just the mention that there is such a thing as a sat tv card, makes me think this might just not work.
I have a set-top box on the tv, and a tv tuner card in the PC.
I just have the rca out to the comp, and the coax to the tv.

Indeed. So you want to be able to watch something and record another but you are only using the 2 different outputs provided from the STB.
For your needs you require a sat-card. Pick the right one and you can do .........other things
EDIT// Oh, and to answer your sig question. Definitely too water cool!
