    Radeon 9800XT 256MB $ 390.00

Fry's is selling the retail box Radeon 9800XT 256MB for 389.99! What do you guys think? Sale ends today, as part of a grand opening event for their new store in Concord, CA.

For half as much you can get a 9800P and overclock it past stock XT speeds. If you're willing to pay twice as much for those few extra MHz then go for it I suppose.

    Ditto to SaulTurnedPaul

if you get a 9800PRO for half the price it can overclock to at least 9800XT Speeds, if not further, but the 9800XT can be overclocked too but i woulnt say id go double the price for another couple of MHz

Good points, which are now steering me to the 9800 pro 128MB which is now on sale at Fry's for $ 190.00, normally $ 299.00 which is too rich for my blood as was the 9800XT 256.

    Thanks for the replies.
