Overclocking results for my mx440

I've got my mx440 now to replace my old Geforce2 GTS. I couldn't play Call of Duty before, now I can run at 1024X768 with all the goodies.

I still have problems with Comanche 4 though. CPU limited I'm sure.

I'm totally happy with this trade. I can't imagine what a nice video card would be like.

Wow, at last, I'm not the only one with an MX 440! Mine's a crappy SE version though, but still the same.

Now how the heck did you get a 250/350 card to run at those specs?? Is it stable?

I'd also LOVE to see your results on 3DMark 2K1 SE because I've been only able to get about 3600 when I run it with my stock 440MX SE. Noboby else may be interested in seeing the results, but I sure am!

Dear Fellow Badass

My card runs stable as I will play for 4 hrs straight (I have to work people) and no problems. Every once in a while I'll get an artifact, but it goes away within a second. It's never crashed a game on me.

You know what's crazy, this thing is passively cooled!

I'll bench it with 3dmark2k1se when I get home in the morning for you. I doubt it will run the 3dmark2k3, but I'll try it anyways.

I couldn't get the online browser to connect so I made a print screen.

I'm very happy with these results. I improved my score over my geforce 2gts by 1000 for free.

I know it seems like nothing to everyone else, but I'm pretty happy

Yea i had a 440 until i gave it to my gf but it overclocked very well....

You've practically doubled my 3DMark score! Ok, what utility did you use to overclock?? This is the first thing I'm doing when I get home! Man, if I could squeeze a couple more months out of this card until HL2 and Doom3 then I will sure have let $65 go a long way - a year and three months! Very impressive, indeed.

What type of memory does your 440 use? I think mine uses cheaper memory around 4.0ns, but I'm not sure.

Ahh, it's true, a score floating around 6000 on 3DMark 2K1 wouldn't impress many here, but I tell ya, that sure impresses me!

Do you remember what scores you used to get on 3DMark? And what was it overclocked to?

I just use the demo version of powerstrip. You can just download it. The splash screen displays for a little bit, but who cares.

I'm not sure what memory it has on it. I'll have to check after work tomorrow morning.

I scored 275 on 3dmark2k3. My sound card kept my score down.

i got up to 7000 on 3d2001se and 2gig processor and 512 of ram. I know it started off around the mid 5000's so it cant be that bad of a overclock

I might pick up one of those (hopefully I can get that sweet of an O/C) or a 9100 instead of that 9800SE for my 2nd box
