i've built a wooden custom case for my linux server (specs in sig) and i'm looking getting a new heatsink for it as my small Volcano2 heatsink (orange arrow) and Vantec stealth 120mm fan (blue arrow).. although does the job.. i know i can do better. esspecially if i plan on upgrading the CPU any time soon.
i'm still working on the case.. and i'll hopefully have a few more pics (better quality) sunday or monday.

Just use the fan that comes with it to cool your graphics card instaed. Its only $20 and comes with a fan controller too.
AMD Phenom II x4 945 3Ghz | ASUS M4A77TD | 2X WD 1TB SATA 2 hard drive | 2x2GB Corsair XMS3 | nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS | ATI TV Wonder Theater Pro 550 | Antec P-160 case | Antec 650w Earth Watts | LG Blu-ray Super Drive | LG DVD RW | Windows 7 Pro
i've been looking at those heatsinks and are pretty sweet.. my question is.. if having the fan positioned above it would it be able to cool the entire heatsink ~semi evenly.. as i could see the bottom half probably getting hotter hten the top.. in which case i'd probably want to put another fan in there somehow.
*edit.. i don't live in the US .. so i can't get stuff from newegg.com
