    Scaner Problems

    A friend gave me a HP Scanjet 4200C. I only need it to scan about 100 or so pictures.

    The problem is that I am running XP Pro and there are no good XP drivers. I tried HP and Drivers.com.

    I tried installing win98 on a secondary drive formatted in FAT32. I was unable to install it because C: is formatted in NTFS. I need a quick fix as I don't want to re-format C: and re-install XP.

    Can anyone help?????

    You may need the Update for the scanner. The driver CD can be ordered but I didn't see any downloadable software/drivers at HP.
