Window Mod

Ok, i've gotten the idea for my next case, i'm gunna make a window in the shape of black mage (see attach). What I want to know is if they sell colored plexi for the window, or if I should go a different route in material for the window. any comments are welcome, and ideas on how to do it.

Just use clear lexan and paint the picture on it using the paint for making the fake stained glass windows. They even include a black gell for outlining the image so the colors will not mix. The paints are almost a translucent colored gell that can be brushed on but looks smooth.

Thanks for the info, I was just thinking of getting car window tint at a light shade, but i'll definately look into that

Most places that carry arts and craft stuff like Frank's Nursery and Crafts. My mom has used the stuff all the time and it is pretty easy to use. I bet not too many people have stained glass windows on their computers of the old Final Fantasy 'Black Mage'. You could even make a grid on the window and use blocks at the same resolution as that picture you got to make it "genuine" or update it with a smoother look.

it's gunna be blocky, lol, it's gunna be either a christmas present, or birthday present for my friend depending on when I get it done, He loves the black mage from 8-bit theater. I was also thinking about using lights behind the image, do you think that would be a good idea or no?

Lol, and it won't be a complete window, just gunna be a cutout in the shape of the black mage so it will look cool :P
