new project on way

ordered a couple new additions
1 x THERMALRIGHT SLK-800(A) COPPER HEATSINK
1 x YSTECH 74 X 74 X 15 5600RPM 36CFM T.M.D. FAN
2 x YSTECH 74 X 74 X 15 4500RPM 30CFM T.M.D. FAN
1 x ANTEC PERFORMANCE SERIES II SOHO FILE SERVER BLACK W/400W POWER SUPPLY

also was given an 80gb maxtor 7200rpm 2mb drive

just gotta cram it all in that case, i tihnk i'll take out the lower drive rack and toss it and just make a decent one to put in it's place

need to fit 6hd's, floppy, card reader, and 2 optical

would like to keep all 7 hd's going but i dont want to have to spend more money to do it, so out goes a 30gb :P

...not sure what kiind of mods i will do to this case, maybe a window or maybe not, maybe just the hd rack, i just dont know :P

I nevered cared for the TMD fans. I'd just get regular 80mm fans, cheper, more air flow and I think even quieter. They originally had high hopes for the fan, but it did not turn out as good as they had hoped.

i have one on my aeroflow, the noise/airflow ratio is really no better, but it seems to have more pressure on the airflow

i dont really know what i mean now that i typed that, but i like em :P
i'm not a fan of led fans :P, maybe a cathode though, but doubtful :P

I wound like to see a standard TMD fan that was 80x25mm. Maybe even through in a speed controller. That would be much better. I think I want to add another cold cathode into my case. I was thinking maybe a blue one on top to go with the 4 tri-color fans and the red cold cathode on the bottom.
