ti4200 overclocking memory error

it has it's own utility. i guess.

the defaults are

Memory clock = 513mhz
Core clock = 250mhz

i can overclock the core.

but when i try the memory i get an error "Directdraw init failed. the sample will now exit".

why does it do that?

When overclocking, since you are running it out of specs,
Nothing is guaranteed.

but when the manufacturer provides the utility i thought it would work some.
