    overburn capacity

how much is the true capacity of CD-R's if you use overburn? Would it depend on which brand you have? I was just wondering how much more space I could use.

    It depends on the brand.

But maximum overburn for a 80 min. CD is at 83.30 minutes or around 734 MB.

However, there's a high risk of data corruption on the overburned parts.

Personally, I don't think it's worth the risk by getting only 20-30 MB extra.
