My Digital Cam Corder won't turn on
It's a Sharp Digiview cam. I let my cousin borrow it for his camping trip and he says that he recorded about half of the week there and tried to one night. He recorded once, put it down, tried to record again but the camera wouldn't want to turn on. I don't know much about cameras so I don't know what's wrong with it. I don't even know if the battery is malfunctioning.
Can anyone help?

Does it have a AC plug?
If so try that, if it works then the battery is dead and needs to be charged.

How old is it?
I would try a new battery or if it's still under warrenty call Sharp.

It's about a year old. I don't know if the battery is malfunctioning but wouldn't it turn on if I just plug the AC adapter in? (assuming, without the battery)

You would think it should work on AC...
Sounds like it's broken to me.
