Thumbs up offishul: gaming be good you

research has shown that playing computer games is good for you. gamers showed better attention to detail and could cope with more distractions than average.

so next time you are told to get off that #$%ing machine you can say you are doing yourself good. some of you might want to go outside and meet some real people though, 14h a day playing vice city ain't good for the skin complexion, or your hoes.

What about having a porn collection the size of Bolivia and going by the online name of "S0L1D Sn@K3" and having a maladjusted attitude of a 13 year old psychotic serial killer in the making?

The fact that the BBC make is that a lot of the games involve strategy and planning rather than just straight out reaction based play. That and the social element is actually a complete community for most online games with its own structure (although I can't say that much for a lot of the CS community when "Your GAY" and "You f*****g wh*re" are common interactions in it). Actually one BBC article I read on this compared CS to chess???? Myself I don't see much of a similarity.
