volcano 7+?????

hello

I got a pentium III at 1GHz core no OC...what kinda temps should i get using a volcano 7+ and a shim...cause i´m getting 31 idle and 55 full done with prime 95 and mesured with asus probe


I´m guessing it is too much cause with my in stock cooler got only more 3 to 4 degree in all readings...shoudln´t this baby be a better worker??

i´ve thought abou that...don´t tell me that after wainting for a mother$#$%# shim from england (Portugal has NONE) ill go thru the risk of crushing the core cause it wasn´t necessary after alll DAMN

an improvement

With out shim (prime 95 running at about 10 mints)

31 idle
41 full

fan in low set speed....but i was hoping to get

28 idle and less than 39 full
