Geforce 4 mx 440 se problem

i have such a problem with my graphics card. when i use 1024X768 resolution and 16-bit colour quality system works fine. but with the same resolution and 32-bit colour quality on the screen appears red lines anyplace on desktop, in some programs appears red dots on the screen too. i use directx 9, but i had the same problem with directx 8.1. now i'm using NVidia latest drivers.
maybe it is defective card?have you any ideas?

my system:

AMD 1700+
ASUS A7V333-X
256 DDR MB
SPARKLE GEFORCE 4MX 440 SE 64MB
WINXP

has the card always done this or is it a new one that you have just installed into an existing system?

it might be that the agp drivers for the motherboard need updating or you could try an earlier version of the card drivers to see if it is them making the problem.

i tried it but it does not work good :/ so i bring it back to a firm...

today i bring the card to the firm so they tested it and said that the card is defective... they changed this to the new one thank you for you help anyway
