[H]ard|OCP on the GeForceFX 5200 Ultra and 5600 Ultra
Although NVIDIA has taken two steps forward in terms of features and functionality, they have seemingly taken a step backwards for both image quality and performance. As we score things, that would make NVIDIA's current position stagnant at best. Should the "cinematic computing era" be taking place, it is happening with ATI's product line, as we have seen first hand that the current GeForceFX product line simply cannot compete with ATI products released last year.
Best article on these cards to date, IMO. Finally somebody has laid the smack down regarding nVidia's terrible "Aggressive" filtering option which they have been urging reviewers to use.

Good to have ATI back on top again!
Again?? Isn't the Radeon 9700 the first time ATI's been on top?
I still have faith that nvidia will come through...
Well - even if it is the 'first time' with the 9700 PRO.
It is now the second time with the 9800 PRO.
Probably will be a third time when R400 comes out 9900 PRO?
Wait I think ATI was on top with the Radeon 8500 for about 2 days, then nVidia released some new drivers boosting the Performance of the GeForce3 by 10%, moving ATI down a notch.

ATI, VIA, SIS, ALI, AMD would all be great if they were not so damn buggy.
Intel is Rock solid VIA is not.
NVIDIA is Rock solid ATI is not.
Rambus is old and is still king.
Abit TH7II is old and still Rocks.
I am 45 and I still Rock, my 27 year old wife will confirm this.
