    Where can I order potentiometers

I've been modding pretty much everything in sight lately. I found a guide for voodoo3's, and was able to get a Voodoo3 2000 to 195MHz. Thanx to DuronClocker I was able to get my Radeon VIVO to 225/225. Thanx to help from a few I was able to get p100 to 166. I want more vCore on my NF7-S. I've figured out how to do it, but this jackling with resistors to get what I want is ridiculous. None of the local stores have any type of potentiometer. Where can I order some in the 50k and 100k variety. I need some more micro-grabbers too, so it would be nice to order both together.

Generaly Radio Shack is probably the best source of Pots and grabbers. Their grabbers are a bit clunky, but the tiny ones are rare and hard to come by so try theirs first..

If you don't have a Rat Shack nearby you can order from them through the internet.

    Hope this helps, Bill

Have you tried an electronics store like Radio Shack:

    http://www.radioshack.com/category.a...1%5F000&Page=1

This is a link to linear tape potentiometer (they have other types) and they range from 5K, 10K, 50k, 100K, and 1M ohm resistance. The only problem is tehy are only rated for .5w. They have audio control, audio taper, linear taper, trimmer, and wire bound pots listed here:

The wire bound are rated for 3w, but only 25ohm. Most of the other ones are rated for .25w or .1w but are all avaluable in at least the 100K ohm (but most are not avaluable in 50k). The trimmers are the only ones without a stem for a nob and are adjusted with a screw driver. They are also the smallest in size because of this. If wattage is not an issue, then these would likely be the best option, unless you wand a knob on the front of your case for adjusting the V-Core voltage.

Well, our radio shack sucks. I asked if they had any, and they didn't even know what I was talking about. They don't know what a conductive pen is either. I started digging, and couldn't find anything though.

    Yeah that would be great!!

Until some fool comes and jacks on it, "what does this know do?" while turning it.

Sniff. Sniff. Do I smell smoke?

You can order it on-line. Their shipping is pretty cheap. It'll cost you about $2.50 and most of teh pots are under $3.

You can also get the cataloge number off the website and take that in to help them get their head out of their a__es. The 50k Liniar Tape Pot is Catalog #: 271-1716. You can even print out the web page with the picture and bring it in. The page even shows that it is an item that is normally stocked at local stores, is in stock and still being manufactured. It is a Radio shack Pot to boot. Maybe with the picture they might get a clue:
