an inkjet printer that can handle thicker paper, capable of printing 11x17 or tabloid and spits 5,000 pages/month without a hassle. I have HP1220c and can't handle thicker paper. Any brands you could recommend is highly appreciated. Thanks.
ooppss, I almost forgot:
ink cartridge can be refilled.

Inkjet is more economical if you know how to refill cartridges. Like the old epson inkjets, cartridges can be refilled with archival inks which are more coherent on transfer paper hot press technology than the conventional pigmented inks.
Color lasers also are expensive to invest--mostly have proprietary CMYK tanks and you can have best quality print-out with special papers. The tech. support is poor here in my place since most of the small print shops down here are using inkjets.
Bink, if you know some links on Color lasers kindly post it here, maybe I'm outdated on the new color lasers. Thanks
