What is test voltage

I changed the jumper from default to test on mobo but my vcore voltage stays at 2v in cmos. One of the readings went from 3.5 to 3.7err(it does not describe what these readings are for). I have my pc overclocked from 66 to 75 but when i go to 83mhz i get a msgsrv32 exe general protection fault.

Also, is there a way to measure cpu temp? in cmos i only read mobo temp. I'm not willing to go to the trouble of gettin a fan for this. I have wcpuid which does not show temp.

For clarification, i did not have voltage on test when i tried 83mhz. It is back to default.

as far as i can tell, test voltage is a small bump in voltage as it is on my asus p2-99, thats all i really can tell you.. hmm maybe someone else here can explain it better
