My Athlon XP2000 (not overclocked) on an Epox 8KMM+ runs at between 49 (Idle) and 55 (Post 3d Game).
After reading various posts I decided this was a bit high and as the only cooling I had was the processor fan/heatsink (called an Iceberg - AMD rated to 2500+) I bought a case fan and one of those exhaust jobbies.
Now I didn't expect a miracle! But I did expect a better drop than I got which is 0. Does this seem right?
Your temps are fine to begin with, no sense add extra noise for minimal gain, if you do wanna go ahead, how are the other stuff such as cables etc positioned? anything that blocks airflow won't help.

By the way, what does BTW stand for?
It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.
Not familier with the Iceburg heatsink, but make sure you have Artic Silver or equal brand paste on the core, and HS/fan strapped on real tight. XP 2000+ processors run HOT, and really need a large all copper sink with a fan that moves good amount of air to get below 40*c. It will tollerate 50*c but I wouldn't want mine at that temp. Actually I have a PC with a 2000+ running overclocked to 1787 mhz and never goes above 38*c. Its got a SK-7 heatsink w/80mm fan. AMD says your HS/fan is good up to 2500+?? That chip would run much cooler than the 2000+, its a Barton .13 core. The older XP's all run a little hotter than the newer ones. All the case fans in the world wont help if the heatsink isn't doing its job.
