BTC CDRW drives. Anyone had experience with them?

The other day I noticed some really cheap CDRW drives made by BTC (they used to make keyboards years ago I recall). The drive I was looking at was model BCE 4012 (40x12x48).

Has anybody used BTC CDRW's before. Just wondering if they are any good?

Take my advice, stay away from BTC, whatever it is, just don't buy it.

And yes, get a liteon instead. Cheap and good.

A few years back i used to build PCs, i had to use BTC parts in order to keep the prices down. This is my experience with them:

CD drives will not do audio extraction properly.
    Monitors failed after a year.
Keyboards.......well, those can take a beat
Mouse, the movement goes crappy (you know the pointer starts to dance) after 3 months.
    Speakers.........lol, need i say more?

I had only bad experiences with those brands, a lot of parts going to warranty in such a short period of time.

Liteons.......on the other hand, are just as cheap as BTC burners, and much better.

Thanks Luis, that was exactly what I was looking for, some first hand experience.

    Cheers
