CenDyne DVD-RW drives?

It is hard to find information (reviews) that cover these. There is a great deal on them at Staples and I was wondering if anyone owns/used one or has seen reviews on them. The one I am talking about is the DVR-105 4x for only $180 at this local store.

The Cendyne 105 is a rebadged Pioneer. Out of the box, reviews that apply to the Pioneer apply to the Cendyne.

After that, it's anyone's guess if firmware updates and the like will come with the same frequency and reliability.

Wow that is the same place I was going to get it and they just lowered it to $149.95 today. It has been on sale there for the past month and it originally started at $200 and is now down to $150. I will read the reviews and see what I think.

I actually have a Cendyne A04 and have had no trouble with it. One thing to note is that the CD write speed is slower than my Hi-Val 24x CDR drive (as reported by Nero). I don't know what the CD write speed of the A05 is.
