    cpu fan direction?

is it more efficient to position the cpu fan to suck air from the heatsink or to blow air over the heatsink?

hmm...ok...thx...i was just confused b/c i recently bought a new heatsink/fan...the Zalman Quiet Maxx 5700...unlike my previous fan, this sucks air from the heatsink...i always thought they should blow onto the heatsink...just wanted to make sure that there are other heatsink/fans that suck from the heatsink rather than blow onto it...

    As already stated,
Varies with HSF and the chassis in use...
