Installing Nvidia drivers for XP

I just upgraded to xp and need to upgrade my drivers for my geforce mx card. I just dont know where to begin. I think I should
uninstall the old drivers first, but don't have a clue how to start.
Could someone walk me through installing drivers for XP? Thx.

1. Go here and download the latest Windows XP drivers:-

2. My computer > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Select Nvidia Display Drivers and click “Remove”

3. Reboot your machine

4. Click “Cancel” in response to all the screen prompts / new hardware found options etc.

5. Go to the driver that your downloaded at 1. above and double click it. Run through the options

6. Reboot your machine.

Right click anywhere on your desktop > Properties > Settings. Then adjust the resolution and colour depth to suit your needs.
