Replacing the HD in my external Buslink FW HD

I have a 40GB Buslink external drive. It's been working great, expecially since upgrading to XP. I know it's a 3.5" drive, and I was wondering if anyone has replaced the internal HD with a larger drive. I know there's a PCB in there since I once opened the case, but I don't know if this PCB will only allow a 40GB of that type in there. I'd love to replace it with a 120GB WD drive.
Also, I know it's a 5400 rpm drive....would installing a 7200 rpm drive work also??? I'd buy a new Buslink with a larger drive, but it's a lot cheaper to buy the bare drive and intall it myself.

I think I answered my own question. I took out the 40 GB drive and put in a 13GB drive I had laying around.....worked great. Probalby better than the Samsung drive that was in there. I also tested a smaller 4GB drive, and that worked fine. I'll install my new 120GB WD drive tomorrow....hopefully it'll work too.

120GB worked. Has to be Fat32 since NTFS won't work.
