what does "AGP display adapter running in PCI compatibility mode mean"?

I ask because my XFX GF4 TI4200 video card says PCI memory (in advance) (in display property)

    thanks

also, how could I set it to full AGP (if possible)
    ...and remember...

Make sure your AGP apeture >8Mb in BIOS.

Try running DXDiag. There is a button in there to enable/disable AGP transfers.

    Uninstall any old videocard drivers.
Reinstall the Nvidia drivers and and AGP port minidriver if you have a non-Intel chipset on your motherboard.

If you have a VIA chipset, you might need to install the 4in1 drivers.
