Im looking at the Leadtek Winfast A250 TD Geforce4 TI 4600 Two fans, big heatsink that covers the front and the back. What do you all think, thumbs up or thumbs down?
Definitely a big thumbs up. The Leadtek GF4Ti series is excellent.
Edit - What price are you looking at for that card? If it's much over $200, I'd say spend an extra $100 and get a Radeon 9700 Pro or save $100 and get a GF4Ti4200. Either way would be bettter value for money. If the card is ~<$200 then it's a good buy, IMO.

HOLY (&^^%*&^)*&(^!!!!
That is almost twice as much as you should be paying for that card. For example, newegg.com are doing the VIVO version for $243.
If you have $400 to spend, buy a Radeon 9700 Pro and something nice for the girlfriend/wife or hold onto your cash until the new year when there will a slew of new $399 cards on the horizon.
MuFu's right man. A Radeon9700 isn't even worth $415 anymore. In fact, it never was over $400.
Go with the VIVO version that Paul mentioned above, and spend the extra $150 on a new burner, or a better motherboard. Or you could get a better hard drive, or go watercooling...or you could probably do two of those things for $150, depending on how you shop

the whole line of cards from leadtek in the geforce 4 ti line 4200 and up are all good cards. basically they're the same like any other geforce4 except for the exceptional stock cooling. definitely a plus if you don't feel like messing with the hsf and still want a really nice oc.

Yeah, that is the VIVO version. Still a rip-off at $419, IMO.

Edit - sorry, "only" $416.

$419 is just plain ridiculous. i'd say if you want that card, i would go with newegg. they're #1 on my list of places to shop. i actually got my new case shipped all the way from newegg in CA to west lafayette, indiana in 1 day. now that is remarkable for fedex express saver!
