Really need help finding a patch or update...

Hello all

I really need help to find a patch or an update to play NFS Porsche Unleashed with Windows XP.

I did a search on the forum and found only 2 threads for this, and the one that answers Toolbox's question was there but I can't seem to find what I need at www.ea.com.

Can someone please give me a direct link to find a patch or an update for this game? Please be kind, my brain isn't fuctioning too well these days. I guess what I'm asking is that who ever replies to my post please be very specific. Thanks

I'm not sure I can actually post a direct link to the patch. It seems EA have taken measures to prevent that from happening. However, I was able to find a site where you should be able to obtain the patch from here:

I get the impression you need to sign up with that site (product registration?) in order to download the patches.

I went to the link you posted but I can't seem to find out where to download the patches??

I've registered my game so that shouldn't be a problem. But the updater doesn't seem to work.

Can you post any other links that might have patches? Or just tell me what to type into Google to do a search. I'm not sure how to phrase my query?

I don't know how I did this but I stumbled on a forum that has a ton of stuff for gaming and NFS Porsche. Here's the link.

I've applied the so-called fix that I posted prematurely and have downloaded the 3.5 patch as well, but I'm still having problems playing my game.

I can play NFS PU but it freezes constantly. Does anyone out there know what I can try next?

Is there something in the BIOS or on my Radeon 7200 that I can change?
